Strike...strike...

Swimming session cancelled because of the strike...yes!!!! As it was way too cold to go out I am happy.......instead gone and hit the pubs. Well first dinner with parents at a restaurant in the XVIIe, got invited by a wine producer (Chateau Ormes Sorbet). She was fun, the restaurant owned by an acquaintance. Nice decor, nice settings, niiiiice prices, lovely presentation of the food though they seem to have lost the taste element somewhere between the kitchen and the table. Food was very bland.......very very very bland. My risotto was not a good one, dig in the rice at you could see broth sipping out to fill the cavity you just made. Panna cotta was not that good either...but the coffees were OK.......

Basically not to be recommended..

Then with Virginie to the Raidd......big change of scenary, which I should have done. Going from a quite setting were we all sat down, chatted joviously, sipping wine and digestive to a noisy packed cigarette stenching place is a bit of a trauma even for my rehearsed mind..........

Never try to have the best of all at one time.....take them one by one and appreciate what you have.
