Off to cool Britannia...

Off to London getting ready for the first competition of the calendar year. As usual birdbrain arrived late and we nearly had a long married couple fight in there. Things got sorted out once we sat on the train and headed for London.

Arrived safely in the european country of over weights and headed for a thai restaurant with Jon and the gang. In there sober out from there half pissed, birdie was happy though as he managed to finally get his Newcastle Brown. Then off to Deptford and to check out the George and Dragon.........scarry...can't believe that this place was crawling with people on new year's eve. I am still amazed that it has not gone out of business. Powder Monkey was on and we headed there to continue drinking. Thinking of joining Charlotte and Foufouna in Soho, but then the 22 quid one way with a mini-cab was a very good deterent and we ended up being good boys and heading for bed earlyish......

After all we are here for a competition.
